Nancy (Hanora) Lawless (née Collins), originally from Rhebogue Avenue, Corbally, Askeaton Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Corbally House Nursing Home, surrounded by her adoring family. She was predeceased by her husband, Pat.
Nancy will be deeply mourned by her children, Jim, Pat, Dan, John, Helen, and Peter, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Mike and Clive, daughters-in-law Rita, sisters Celia and Helen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and a vast circle of friends. Her memory will live on in their hearts.
The family invites you to join them for a repose at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Monday, November 24, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The funeral procession will then move to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street, on Tuesday, November 25, for a Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Nancy will be laid to rest in Dunquin Cemetery, Dingle, Co. Kerry, arriving around 2:30 p.m. The Mass will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person (https://www.churchservices.tv/limerickstmaryscatholicchurch).
Nancy's life will be celebrated and her legacy honored through the love and support of those who knew her.
