Exciting News for Baseball Fans! Mark your calendars because on February 1st at 6 p.m., Samford's baseball team will host its much-anticipated annual First Pitch Dinner in the Coca Cola Hospitality room at the Pete Hanna Center. This event is an essential gathering for all members of the Diamond Society Booster Club, as announced by Head Coach Tony David on Monday.
This dinner serves not just as a kickoff for the upcoming baseball season but also as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude toward the loyal supporters of the program. "The Diamond Society is truly the backbone of our baseball operations," stated Coach David. "Without the incredible generosity and passion that our members have for both the program and our university, competing at our current level would be a challenge. We take immense pride in the continuous success of our baseball team over the years, and we fully acknowledge that this achievement is significantly due to the support from the Diamond Society."
The Diamond Society comprises alumni, parents of current and former players, friends, and anyone who passionately supports Samford baseball.
